Welcome! I’m Heather Johnson, a lifestyle photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I specialize in capturing authentic moments for families and children, although I love photographing just about anything. In addition to family photography I’ve branched into senior sessions, which I've decided is fun in a completely different way. Despite 17 years of experience, my passion for photography continues to grow—I still get excited before every single session. Sometimes, I come right home and pull the pictures off my camera because I simply cannot wait to look at them. It never gets old!

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m with my family—my husband and our three amazing daughters. With two of them now at UNC, our weekends are often spent tailgating before football games. Over the past 11 years, we’ve fostered many dogs, and three have become permanent members of our family: Stella, Hunter, and Olive. Animal rescue is a cause close to our hearts, and one day, we dream of owning a large property where we can save even more lives.
